As one of the most productive agricultural regions of Scotland, with its long coastline along the Firth of Clyde and a lush, scenic countryside, Ayrshire, Arran and Dumfries & Galloway is an area full of entrepreneurs supplying artisan food and drink. Rolling farmlands are dotted with the area’s famous dairy cows and fertile fields grow new potatoes while along the Firth of Clyde coastline fishermen haul in lobster, langoustine, crab and mackerel. Alongside the region’s famous golf courses, historic sites and grand buildings, this area is dotted with Farmhouse Cheesemakers, Bakers, Beekeepers, Sweet makers and Smokehouses.

Ayrshire Hampers, filled with love, are proud to create beautiful gifts from Food and Non-food artisan products made by entrepreneurs from across Ayrshire, Arran and Dumfries & Galloway. Our vision is to showcase all that is good from the area.

We are a family team from Ayrshire. Family business being a theme running through all our suppliers too. We have created this range using delicious Tea from Fancy-A-Brew, blended in Largs by Colin Young who set up his business as he is an avid Tea Drinker, Our Ecosse Candles are made in Irvine by the very clever Sandra who set up her candle making business years ago on a self – employed basis and now supplies many outlets across the UK.

The famous brown and white Ayrshire dairy cow originally known as Dunlop and later Cunningham cattle and first recorded on an official basis in the 1870s, Dunlop Dairy, cheesemaker Ann Dorward keeps a herd of thirty Ayrshire cattle at her farm near Stewarton in Ayrshire and hand-makes a range of farmhouse cheeses

J Pieroni & Sons is a family run business, third generation in fact and operates from a fish processing unit on Peebles St in Ayr. The company has over 72 years’ experience in the trade and has earned an enviable reputation as a leading wholesale supplier of top grade sustainable fresh fish and shellfish, they care passionately about sustainable sourcing and delivering the very best seafood from Scottish waters to some of the finest restaurants in Ayrshire.

Chrystal’s Shortbread is baked near Loch Lomond by Rory and His Wife Chrystal to Her Grandmas Ayrshire Recipe and just melts in your mouth! Our sweets are from Threepwood Fayre and family business near Beith and who produce the yummiest Macaroons as well as many other Flavours of chocolates and Tablet.

From the Isle of Arran we have crunchy sweet biscuits and Oaties from Woolley’s and Tasty Arran Jams and Marmalades. The Toddy Man Hot Toddy Apothecary Mix will warm you up and keep the colds at bay and if you want to add your favourite alcoholic tipple that up to you but delicious either way.

Our Tartan Chocolate Bars are all the way from Dumfries and Galloway, handmade by Liz and her team in lots of colours to represent the Tartans of Scotland. Lis moved to Scotland and trained as a Chocolatier and developed her iconic Tartan range – stunning.

Jams and Tablet from Jill at Homemade by Jill completes the range. Homemade at her smallholding just outside Kilmarnock, Jill is a master Jam, Chutney and Tablet maker.
