Ayrshire Hampers opens its doors

On Sunday 1st September, Ayrshire Hampers opened its first retail store on Platform One, Kilmarnock Railway Station. The Deputy Provost, Claire Leitch attended and also the local MP Alan Brown popped in and purchased some delicious goodies. The shop is the first ever hamper shop, which gives the ability to purchase your products individually or build them into a hamper for anniversaries, Christmas, birthdays or corporate. You can click and collect, order online for delivery or build instore. All the products are Scottish and from local businesses, family businesses or local entrepreneurs. The range covers cheeses, jams, chutney, oatcakes, shortbread, fudge, tea, coffee to name a few.

We were overwhelmed at the local support we have received and can’t wait to start helping people with their Christmas gifts. We are also part of the Railway Heritage Trust and will be taking on volunteers to support the feeling of community on the platform.

Pics included the Deputy provost, Alan Brown MP purchasing some goodies and Linda Hill Miller owner of LAH travel who has been a massive support and business mentor and of course Dave and Lucy.
